Origin: Brazil - Amazon Rain forest

Native to the tropical rain forests of Amazon. Widely used by the indigenous populations of the northern region of Brazil, this rich, light creamy oil has properties similar to Neem Oil: it has a slightly bitter taste and earthy aroma attributable to a group of terpene chemicals called Meliacins.
